Manufactured to Petter Dass days on Alstadhaug 2012, organized by NNKS. Sculptures made of steel. Cooperation with art craftsman Ann Kristin Einarsen
North Norwegian artist center partnered with Petter Dass Museum for an art project under the Petter Dass days. Ann Kristin Einarsen and I was selected to create site-spesific art for the outdoor area at Alstahaug. Sculptures made of steel were placed on carefully selected locations at the museum site. As the literature festival, also this project worked with "the place" as a theme. Using mirroring, silhouettes and images of Alstahaug from a different time of year, we played with our perception of the environment. The sculptures both reflects and represents selected buildings and landscape fragments from Alstahaug. Meanwhile drawn into unexpected elements from another reality.
